Our most popular tops are Quartz and Solid Surface. But we also do wood tops, natural granite tops and laminate tops.
At Allen, we template your replacement countertops without removing the old tops so you are not left with a non usable kitchen for weeks.
We typically complete countertop installations in one day and can have our plumber connect the sink that day or the next day.

Laminate Countertops
Laminate countertops have been around since Formica introduced them in the 1950's. Their use for countertops faded during the 1990's but is still a viable option for kitchen and vanity tops. Recent pattern introductions are very difficult to distinguish from natural granites.
Laminate countertops are available with coved backsplashes and several front edge styles and at a price about half that of Corian, granite and quartz tops. Undermount sinks are now possible as well.
Wood Tops
Wood countertops are becoming more popular again either as an accent piece on an island or for the entire kitchen. We offer wood tops in maple, cherry, oak, walnut, ash, teak and lyptus.
Wood tops will require application of sealers periodically to maintain an even deep color to the wood.
Soapstone Countertops
Soapstone in a unique natural stone that is extremely dense and resistant to heat and chemicals. Soapstone has been used for chemistry lab tables for decades. Color options are limited and based on the slabs that are available at the time. Most is mined now in Brazil. Color is enhanced by applying mineral oil periodically. Wipe on and wipe off and it is food safe.
Granite & Marble
Choose from over 30 popular granites that are sold by the square foot or select an exotic stone that will be priced by the slab plus fabrication. Granite tops have been popular for many years and offer a unique appearance since every slab is different. You can meet with our fabrication facility to inspect the slabs and see just how the patterns will be placed on your tops.
Quartz Tops
Quartz countertops in Madison, WI have become very popular and are replacing much of the demand for granite tops. Quartz tops are stronger than granites and are non porous so they need NO MAINTENANCE or sealing. The techniques for creating patterns has progressed to the point that many colors are hard to distinguish from natural stones.
Allen offers over 200 quartz tops from the leading manufacturers like Cambria, Zodiaq, Silestone, Hanstone, Aventine and Caesarstone. Most are priced by the square foot so you only pay for what you need..
Corian & Avonite Tops
Corian and Avonite solid surfaces are non porous and the color extends through the slabs. Solid surface tops provide seamless installations with integral sinks for kitchen or bath and coved backsplashes. Extremely easy to clean and maintain. There are over 100 colors and patterns to select from.
We also fabricate solid surface materials for custom shower bases and walls, tub desks, seats and caddies.
