Contractor estimates range from a single page to many pages but nearly all lack DETAILS. At best, they may list allowances for cabinets, countertops, flooring, plumbing faucets and fixtures.
And that is just for the products. Then there is the LABOR allowances for plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc!
You get the picture. You don't know what you are buying and how much it will cost!
The easy way to book jobs is to understate the real costs and call them Allowances.

All contractors, including Allen, occasionally find surprises when walls, floors and ceilings are opened like pipes that were not where expected, structural issues from prior remodeling, etc. Our difference is that we will price that work at our cost and show you any sub contractor invoices to substantiate it.
